Keeping your house clean will improve the quality of air. Start the cleaning process by using a vacuum with HEPA filters. Mop up to pick the dust left after vacuuming. Place a floor mat in every door to keep the dirt and pollutant outside. Reduce the exposure to allergens by washing your comforters, sheets and pillows.
5. Stay natural
Try and avoid aerosol sprays emitting chemicals and synthetic fragrances for your laundry. Instead, use naturally-scented or even fragrance-free laundry products. Open the window for fresh air instead of using air fresheners every time. Use fresh lemons and baking soda for scents in the kitchen. Finally, get a plant indoors.
